Our Origins
Born in Uganda. Drawn to Africa.
Signature Africa was founded by Dancan Kiiza — a son of Western Uganda who grew up with the forests and plains as his backyard. What began as a deep personal love for the land became a calling: to share Africa's most extraordinary places with those willing to truly seek them.
We are a Destination Management Company specialising in East and Horn of Africa, but our reach stretches across the continent — from the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela to the coral-fringed shores of Zanzibar. Every destination we offer is one we know not from research, but from presence.
That knowledge is what we bring to every journey we design. It is the difference between a trip and an experience that stays with you long after you return home.

Each lodge, tented camp, or private villa in our portfolio has been personally visited and assessed. We place you only where the setting is extraordinary and the hospitality is genuine.
Your guide will have grown up near these forests and plains. They know the elephants by behaviour, the birds by their morning songs, the bush by the way it breathes at dusk. Their presence transforms a journey into something rare.
