Signature Experience
Gorilla Trekking
Face to face with our closest kin in ancient rainforest
Mountain gorilla trekking is one of the most profoundly moving wildlife encounters on Earth. Deep in the misty bamboo and montane forests of the Virunga volcanoes and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, small groups of eight are led by expert trackers to spend one transformative hour with a habituated gorilla family. With fewer than 1,100 mountain gorillas remaining in the wild, every permit is both a privilege and a direct contribution to their survival.
